Hi everyone, I'm Sharon from Shropshire and live with my OH Andy

We have three furballs who are Taiya (homed Oct 10); almost 4 who we think is Akita x Mally (RSPCA rescue), Blue (homed May 11); nearly 2 Sibe and we've recently rehomed Miko who is just over 6 months and is Sibe x Mally.

Have fed Taiya raw for just over 12 months after my trainer recommended it. Used the pre-frozen blocks to start with but when we got Blue looked for alternatives and went down the Landywoods route. Unfortunately over xmas they let us down twice on the run big style but it's been to our advantage as we've found a brilliant local butcher who is supplying us with a mince mix for brekkies and bones for tea! (obviously not us literally!) LOL!
Anyways here is me and the pack :D

Taiya, Blue & Miko sound wonderful. Would love to see pictures of your 3 furry friends. Well done for re-homing them :smile

It's good to see you have dropped the pre-frozen blocks from the Internet supplier - These company's mainly supply Minced products and Chicken Carcasses, which have far too much bone content and NOT enough Meat (In 98% of cases, it's NOT Fit for Human Consumption either).
Great you have found a local Butcher in your area, though I would not go down the route of any Minced Mix or large Bones with hardly any meat on them - The Raw Feeding ratio is: 80% Whole Raw Meat - 10% Edible Bone In the Meat - 5% Liver - 5% Other Organ, consisting of any Brain, Kidneys, Lung, Pancreas, etc.

To help you further, read through the Twelve Commandments of Raw Feeding. It will help you with everything you need to know about feeding a Species Appropriate Diet to your fur-babies ;) Link here... http://eskimohuskies...-domestic-wolf/

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask us, that's what were here for :yes

Once again, welcome to the forum.
Ivan.
