Hi, my name is Sue and on a visit to Homeleigh Garden Centre my husband, youngest son and I met Paul and his friend, ( I am sooo sorry, I am useless at remembering names).
We have a Malamute x Inuit bitch called Molly and they stopped to say hello to her as I was trying to keep her in the shade in the car park. We started a conversation that must have lasted an hour! You guys were so helpful! I learnt more about raw feeding, temperament, collars and leads than in that hour than in the last six months.
Molly came to us when she was 4.5 months old so she is young, (almost 15 months old ) big, (she weighed in today at 41.3kgs) pretty and willful. She is a gentle giant and impossible to walk on a lead. She pulls like a steam train!! As I have a mobility illness it means we can't go out together.
I haven't had a dog since 1985 so I need to learn things too! I am hoping that being a member will help me to get the right advice and guidance for Molly and me and hopefully, my learning curve will in turn, help someone else.
Sue
