Hey,
I'm Aimee also known as Diz......I used to be on another husky forum but left in June so bit wary about being back on a forum again if I'm honest.
I have a husky called Ozzy, a huskamute called Willow and Dexter our little mini GSD x Collie x something else!!
Ozzy is from Anakusak lines (Sikuwolf) and has a bit of weight on him at the moment, whereas Willow is very slender.....
I do a lot of work for Huskies in Need, homechecking, fostering, transporting, fundraising but as I've only had Ozzy around 2 years I am still new to the world of husky owning and learn new things every day!
At the moment I'm doing some research on BARF/ Raw and have been pointed your way.
At the moment my three are fed on these regularly
sardines, tuna, chicken wings/breast/quarters,egg, liver (small qts) heart, tripe, pineapple, carrots, brocolli, pasta, rice, bones....sunflower oil, cod liver oil.....
Also-Ozzy has been run on a scooter and rig before and I'm looking to get a rig/scooter to run them just as a hobby and dont really know where to get started to start building up fitness etc....I don't even know what I would need equipment wise-eg harnesses etc....
So yep-any advice or thoughts you have would be great, I'm here to learn :-)
Thanks and I hope to feel welcome here
Aimee

Welcome to the forum Aimee, have a good read through the Raw Feeding threads and ask as you go.
It will quickly become clear to you that we don't promote the BARF diet as there's no need for certain food groups to be fed to dogs.
As I said, have a good read up and all your questions will be answered.

Hey everyone,
Sorry I haven't been online, I'm up the wall with loads of uni work at the moment....
Thanks for the welcomes, it was really lovely!
I appreciate any help with raw feeding as I'd love to KNOW that i'm feeding my furkids the right things and that they are gaining nothing but goodness instead of processed rubbish.....
I'm going to have a root around the forum now, but again thank you so much for you welcomes x
