My name is michael and my girlfriends name is serena, in two weeks we are getting a 10 week old female husky with ice blue eyes and i'm well excited. I have had large dogs before including bullmastiffs, dobermans, labradors, rottweilers and great danes but this will be my first huskey... I definetly want to get her on a raw diet but i'm kinda nervous as our two ferrets basically turned there noses up when we tried them on raw food so hopefully this will work.
I'm looking forward to all the advice I can get on this forum and as I plan on getting a husky bike to exercise her and her brother who our friend has i'm really hoping this raw diet works.
Look forward to chatting to you all.

A big welcome to the forum michael and serena, and congratulations on the forthcoming addition to your family.
Great decision on the raw feeding too, it can be a bit nerve wracking to start with but once both yourselves and puppy get the hang of it you will wonder why you ever worried.
wecome once again and have fun
Bev.

It's great to have you here.
10 week old female Husky with blue eyes! Cool. I may be wrong, this Husky pup will be sightly different to all your other dogs
Do not worry, that is why this forum is here!
Everyone here will guide you the correct way of raw feeding your little girl.
When Ivan also views your post, he will guide you feeding raw again to your Ferret. Hopefully this time he will eat what he's offered
Don't be nervous, everything will be just fine.
When you get your little girl, please post your puppy pics. Everyone loves to see pictures of puppies

Huskies are not like any other dog on the planet, after researching and reading for years silvers chilled out non mischievous self came as a pleasant surprise. Folowed by storms totally boisterous mischievous self which came as a total shock lol.

Welcome to the forum Michael! Your definately in the right place to learn about raw. Dont worry about your pup not liking it as soon as she gets a big chicken quarter in front of her it will be like a duck to water and the benefits will be there for you to see.
If you need any help just ask

Welcome to the forum, new here myself.
Great news about the new addition on the way, we opted for a rescue dog recently instead of a pup as we liked the idea of offering a home to a dog that had lost one previously.
There's lots of help and advice on here, you'll learn a lot.
See you around
