OK my name's Steve and my girlfriend's name is Susie [not like that wasn't obvious].
We recently adopted Kai [no relation to Thomas] through the SHCGB and he's our 1st Husky :gnight
He's nearly 18 months old, grey & white and weighs in at just over 26kg.
Believe it or not he's very well behaved but still has his puppy moments which always makes us laugh.
I started researching a raw diet when we picked him up and the fosterer told us that he had been feeding him 1-2 chicken carcasses a day in the morning and then 1-2 mugs of ki**le in the evening, amounts of ki**le determined by the carcass intake. As soon as I started reading about it I decided that it was definitely the way forward.
As this is just an introduction thread I'll stop there and look forward posting elsewhere as soon as the permissions come through.
Steve

PS: Found out about this place through Thomas_Kai, thanks. :yes

Hi there Steve & Susie,
Posted Image to the forum.
I hope you enjoy it here.

You are in the right place to gain the correct knowledge for "Raw Feeding" your Husky Kai.
Myself & Paul have researched the "Raw Feeding" content here on the board over the last 4 years from a wonderful lady, Jane Anderson in Australia, who has now been raw feeding her dogs & cats for the last 17 years.

If you need any help with anything, please do not hesitate to ask us.
Feel free to add your comments to any of our old Topics, we have no problems with the coming to the top of the board again :gnight
Your gallery is ready for use, we would love to see your piccies of Kai.
Well done for taking on a rescue as your first Husky. Brave man.

Thank You for joining.
Ivan.

Hey Steve and Susie. Great to see you joined. :p
The raw feeding forums are the places to find everything you need to know. It may be daunting to start with, I found it best to read through a couple of times, helped me take the information in much better on the second read.
Paul and Ivan are great guys, known them for a long time, they will help you out should you get stuck.

Have fun and happy raw feeding Posted Image
