Just thought I'd poke my head on in and say hey.

My name is Amanda, and I own two Siberian Huskies, Amaya and Ryou.

Posted Image
Anyways, Amaya is the dark red girl in the back, and Ryou the light boy in the front. They're both about a year and a half old, and both came from the same "breeder" (sadly, a BYB, but I thought I knew better and discovered later how much of a BYB she really was), and they're the loves of my life. They saved my life before they were ever even born! Posted Image I started feeding them raw almost a year ago, and I gotta say, I'm so happy I did. They absolutely love it. Amaya totally wasn't feeling the doomnuggest at...ALL! haha.

Anyways, dun think there's much else to say, because I don't think you guys wanna hear my life story.

Yeah, backyard breeder. I didn't think she was a "big" breeder or anything of the likes, but what I didn't realize then, but do now, is that she breeds her dogs over and over again, sometimes up to four times in two years. Amaya's mum has had two litters since Amaya was born, and one just before that. Ryou's mum should have had the same, and there was a litter announced for her a few months ago, but the litter never came. I dunno what happened with that... She also breeds her dogs starting at a year old. -.-

Anyways, thanks for the warm welcomes!

Hello & welcome!! Your dogs are so beautiful!!

I also bought Miko from someone that I later learned was a BYB... I thought I'd done my research but I really hadn't done enough. I'm glad I know and now I would not ever be able to buy a sibe from anything less than a reputable breeder. I just try to educate people so they don't just go buying dogs from every person advertising pure breds :)
